In Venezuela, the National Commission of Casinos, an organism that belongs to the Tourism Ministry, under the Mission “Cero Illegal Game”, has made effective the verification and control of the legal functioning of a great quantity of casino and bingo room operators, closing 23 establishments on a national level.

At the time, 39 facilities that are dedicated to chance games, have already been inspected. What the mentioned inspection does is to label and retain the slot machines and close down the centers that do not have the installation and functioning license according to the Casino Law. In the last three months 1,746 slot machines have been drawn and 134 table games of poker, blackjack and roulette have been closed.

In the last four raids they summed up a total of 11 establishments, where three bingos were closed in Tachira and a total of 183 slot machines were taken away.

In Caracas they closed the Tropical Bingo and 790 were labeled and retained, and finally, a bingo in Vargas was closed and 200 slot machines were operating illegally in the establishment of Bahía Blanca.
