Retired council worker won a £20,000 bingo jackpot

According to Evening Times online magazine, a retired 70-year-old council worker has scooped a £20,000 bingo jackpot on a National Bingo game.

The 70-year-old man from Erskine, Renfrewshire, who asked Evening Times not to be named, won the cash at the Gala Club in Paisley.

He completed a full house in 42 numbers on a National Bingo game called Afternoon Delight. The pensioner, who has been playing for 10 years, plans to use the money to visit Canada.
